Martha and Thomas have been married for six years and have three children. Tomas has become increasingly aggressive with his family, getting to physically and psychologically mistreat both his wife and children. Martha has sought help in different institutions, but Thomas does not want to change, so now Martha seeks a divorce. Tomas, upon learning that Martha wants the divorce, has attacked her with more violence, threatened her by telling her that the children will pay the consequences, and that she will not see them again.

I think she should file a case in the court... this would definitely help her. Or either she can take the children along with her and complain about all those stuff in the police station.
