3*1/2 = 7/2

1*3/4 = 7/4

LCM of 2 and 4 is 4

7*2/2*2=14/4

7*1/4*1=7/4

14-7/4

7/4

answer is 7/4 Mark me as brainliest

Answer:

7/4 or 1 3/4

Explanation

Length of lace she bought= 3 1/2  = 7/2

Length of lace she used= 1 3/4 = 7/4

So, total length of lace she used= 7/2 - 7/4=

L.C.M. of 2 and 4= 4

7/2= 7/2×2/2= 14/4

7/4= 7/4

So, 14/4 - 7/4= 7/4 = 1 3/4

So, she is left with 1 3/4 of lace.
