Mass of an object on earth is 10 kg what will be its mass on the moon.Compare the weight of body on the earth to that on moon.(Given that acceleration it gravity on earth is six times of that on moon).

1)=>MASS WILL NOT CHANGE.

2)-weight on moon = g*M*m/R^2
-weight on earth = g*100M*m/16R^2

-divide equation (1) by (2) we get -
-weight on moon/weight on earth = 16/100
-weight on moon/weight on earth = 1/6

or weight on moon = 1/6 weight on earth
