Massasoit was the leader of Wampanoag village form an alliance with the Plymouth colony as well as learn about the harvest feast now called the "First Thanksgiving".

In March 1621, the Native man named Samoset entered Plymouth as well as greeted the Pilgrims in English. 6 days later, Massasoit returned to the Plymouth with Massasoit along with 60 armed men.
