Virupaksha temple was a Chalukyan Temple in the present day state of Karnataka. A fusion of Northern style and Southern style is found in the structure and making of this temple. These temples are one of the remarkable ones in their styles and it is the part of the group of famous series of Hampi monuments in the present day Karnataka. It has been designated as the World Heritage Site of UNESCO.
