Given,

$\frac{x}{2} - 5 = \frac{x}{3} - 4$

TO FIND :

The value of "x"

PROCESS :

Taking L.C.M on both sides, we get,

$\frac{x - 10}{2} = \frac{x - 12}{3}$

Cross multiplying the terms, we get,

$2(x - 12) = 3(x - 10)$

Multiply the terms, we get,

$2x - 24 = 3x - 30$

Now bringing the terms having variables on same sides, we get,

$2x - 3x = - 30 + 24$

$- x = - 6$

$x = 6$

Hence,

The value of "x" is 6
