To Find :-

➡Value Of X

Solution :-

 =  >  \frac{x}{2}  - 5 =  \frac{x}{3}  - 4 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{x - 10}{2}  =  \frac{x - 12}{3}  \\  \\  =  > 3x - 30 = 2x - 24 \\  \\  =  > 3x - 2x =  - 24 + 30 \\  \\  =  > x = 6

Verification :-

 =  >  \frac{x}{2}  - 5 =  \frac{x}{3}  - 4 \\

LHS

 =  >  \frac{6}{2}  - 5 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{6 - 10}{2}  \\  \\  =  > - 2

RHS

 =  >  \frac{6}{3}  - 4 \\  \\  =  > 2 - 4 \\  \\  =  >  - 2

RHS = LHS

SOLUTION :

Given,

 \frac{x}{2}  - 5 =  \frac{x}{3}  - 4

TO FIND :

The value of "x"

PROCESS :

Taking L.C.M on both sides, we get,

 \frac{x - 10}{2}  =  \frac{x - 12}{3}

Cross multiplying the terms, we get,

2(x - 12) = 3(x - 10)

Multiply the terms, we get,

2x - 24 = 3x - 30

Now bringing the terms having variables on same sides, we get,

2x - 3x =  - 30 + 24

 - x =  - 6

x = 6

Hence,

The value of "x" is 6
