Given :  ΔDEF is an isosceles triangle

EG is median

Show that ΔDEG ≅ ΔFEG

To Find : by the reflexive  property

Segment DE ≅  Segment EF

Segment DG ≅  Segment GF

Segment EG ≅  Segment EG

Segment DG ≅  Segment DE

Segment FG ≅  Segment FE

Solution:

The reflexive property of congruence states that each shape is congruent to itself.

EG is common in Both   ( EG is same in Both )

Hence

Segment EG ≅  Segment EG   Using The reflexive property of congruence

Segment DE ≅  Segment EF  ( Equal side of Isosceles triangle)

Segment DG ≅  Segment GF ( Median Divides side in two Equal parts )
