We know that tanA= CotB
tanA= tan (90-B)
Because we know the formula cot(90-A)=tanA.
So by cancelling tan on both the sides,

A=90-B
Taking all variables to one side
A+B= 90 degrees.

Hello !

Given,

tan A = cot B

also,

tan A = tan ( 90 - B)

i.e.,

A = 90 - B

A + B = 90

Proved.

Akhilkumar01: thanks
