A loaded truck travels 14 km in 25 minutes. If the speed remains the same, how far can it travel in 5 hours?

Ans -

Let distance covered in 5 hours be km.

1 hour = 60 minutes

5 hours = 5  60 = 300 minutes

Here distance covered and time in direct proportion.

= \frac{14}{25} : \frac{x}{300}\\ \\= x\times 25 = 14\times 300\\\\= x = \frac{14\times 300}{25}

= 168 km

Answer:168 km

Step-by-step explanation:Let distance covered in 5 hours be km.

1 hour = 60 minutes

5 hours = 5  60 = 300 minutes

[distance(in km),time(in min)],[14,x],[25,300] ]  respectively

Here distance covered and time in direct proportion.

 therefore , 14/25 =x/300

       = x X 25 = 14 X 300

= 168 km
