solve for x and y :- 8/x+12/y=1/10 and 6/x+8/y=1/14

Let,8/x+12/y=1/10........... eqn.(1) ×6 ; 6/x+8/y=1/14.........eqn.(2) ×8 ! eqn(1 -2)=72/y-64/y=3/5-4/7; 8/y=1/35= y is 280 from equn 1st8/x+12/280=1/10 ; 8/x+3/70=1/10; 8/x=4/70; value of x=140
