To prove : XQYP is parallelogram.

Proof : Since ABCD is || gm.

AB || CD and AB = CD

BX || DY and 1 AB / CD = 1 CD / 2

BX || DY and BX = DY

Therefore BXDY is || gm.

Similarily, AXCY is also a || gm.

Since BXDY is || gm, BY || DX or PX || QY.

Since AXCY is || gm, AY || CX or PY || QX.

Therefore XQYP is also a parallelogram.
