  • Volume of a cuboid =  \sf {2700m}^{3}
  • Surface area of a cuboid = 1200m².

Given :–

  • Length of a cuboid = 10m.
  • Breadth of a cuboid = 18m.
  • Height of a cuboid = 15m.

To Find :–

  • Volume of a cuboid.
  • Surface area of a cuboid.

Solution :–

1. Volume of a cuboid.

Volume = length × breadth × height

OR,

  •  \tt l \times b \times h

We have,

  • length = l = 10m.
  • breadth = b = 18m.
  • height = h = 15m.

So,

 \mapsto 10m \times 18m \times 15m

 \mapsto 180 {m}^{2}  \times 15m

 \mapsto 2700 {m}^{3}

Hence,

The volume of a cuboid is  \sf {2700m}^{3}

2. Surface area of a cuboid.

Surface area = 2lb + 2bh + 2hl

OR,

  •  \tt 2(lb + bh + hl)

We have,

  • l = 10m.
  • b = 18m.
  • h = 15m.

So,

 \mapsto 2(10 \times 18 ){m}^{2} +  2(18 \times 15)  {m}^{2} + 2(15 \times 10) {m}^{2}

 \mapsto 2(180)  {m}^{2}  + 2(270) {m}^{2}  + 2(150) {m}^{2}

 \mapsto 360 {m}^{2}  + 540{m}^{2}  + 300 {m}^{2}

 \mapsto 660 {m}^{2}  + 540 {m}^{2}

 \mapsto 1200 {m}^{2}

Hence,

The surface area of a cuboid is 1200m².
