Question :-

⦿ Factorise the expression : p³(x-2y) - p²(x-2y).

Assumption :-

◑ Let (x-2y) be a

Solution :-

✎ p³a - p²a [ x - 2y = a]

✒ p (p²a) -1 (p²a)

✒ (p²a)(p-1)

now, as:-

◑ a = x -2y

so,

➟ (p²(x-2y))(p-1)

✒ p²(x-2y)(p-1)

p²(x-2y)(p-1) is the factorise form of p³(x-2y) - p²(x-2y)

Answer:-

✏ p²(x-2y)(p-1)
