on solving these two equations,we get
first multiply the first eq by 2,
4x+6y= 14
4x+y = 9
on subtracting these two,
5y=5
y=1
4x+1 = 9
4x = 8
x = 2
on solving the next two equations involving a and b,
a= 1-b
3(1-b) - 4b = 10
3-3b-4b = 10
3-7b = 10
-7b = 7
b= -1
a= 1
