max resultant

A+B = 10

B=10-A -------- 1

min resultant

A-B = 6

substituting 1

A-(10-A)=6

A-10+A=6

2A=6+10

A=16/2

A=8

and

B=10-A

B=10-8

B=2

Hence, magnitude of individual vectors is 8 and 2.
