Answer:

distance covered by mayank in one round:

2(60+40)= 2(100)= 200m

in three rounds= 200*3= 600m

distance covered by roma in one round:

4*55=220m

in 3 round= 220*3= 660

therefore roma walks more by 60m

AnswEr :

M A Y A N K :

  • Length of Park ( L ) = 60 m
  • Breadth of Park ( B ) = 40 m

Refrence of Image is in the Diagram :

\setlength{\unitlength}{1.5cm}\begin{picture}(8,2)\thicklines\put(7.7,3){\large{A}}\put(7.3,2){\mathsf{\large{40 m}}}\put(7.7,1){\large{B}}\put(9.2,0.7){\matsf{\large{60 m}}}\put(11.1,1){\large{C}}\put(8,1){\line(1,0){3}}\put(8,1){\line(0,2){2}}\put(11,1){\line(0,3){2}}\put(8,3){\line(3,0){3}}\put(11.1,3){\large{D}}\end{picture}

Total Distance travelled by Mayank :

↠ Distance = Perimeter × No. of Round

↠ Distance = 2(L + B) × 3

↠ Distance = 2(60m + 40m) × 3

↠ Distance = 2 × 100m × 3

Distance = 600 m

Mayank will travel distance of 600 m.

R O M A :

  • Side of Square Park = 55 m

Refrence of Image is in the Diagram :

\setlength{\unitlength}{1.5cm}\begin{picture}(8,2)\thicklines\put(7.7,3){\large{A}}\put(7.3,2){\mathsf{\large{55 m}}}\put(7.7,1){\large{B}}\put(9,0.7){\matsf{\large{55 m}}}\put(10.6,1){\large{C}}\put(8,1){\line(1,0){2.5}}\put(8,1){\line(0,2){2}}\put(10.5,1){\line(0,3){2}}\put(8,3){\line(3,0){2.5}}\put(10.6,3){\large{D}}\end{picture}

Total Distance travelled by Roma :

↠ Distance = Perimeter × No. of Round

↠ Distance = 4(Side) × 3

↠ Distance = 4 × 55m × 3

Distance = 660 m

Roma will travel distance of 660 m.

\rule{300}{2}

We Can see that Roma travelled total Distance of 660 metre, whereas Mayank travelled total Distance of 600 metre.

◦ More Distance = Roma – Mayank

◦ More Distance = 660m – 600m

More Distance = 60 metre

Roma walks more and by 60 m.
