The trees found in the temperate forests are especially adapted to survive in the biome. The leaves of deciduous trees fall and grow back each year. In cold temperature, these trees go into dormancy. Also, they can change their leaves with change in the seasons, i.e. during summers, they have green leaves which changes to red, orange and yellow colour leaves of fall.

hiii,
Deciduous means "falling off at maturity" or "tending to fall off", and it is typically used in order to refer totrees or shrubs that lose their leaves seasonally (most commonly during autumn) and to the shedding of other plant structures such as petals after flowering or fruit when ripe.
