Jago Aiya is a ceremony that is followed by Sikhs during a wedding. A night or two before a Sikh Wedding is this ceremony. It is a festive dance full of energy and celebration. Just like Hindi, Jago means "Wake up" and in this case the ceremony is designed to get the bride, groom, family and friends into the festive and celebratory mood for their wedding day.
