I will tell you what I understand of this quote. I will only tell you what meaning makes it tick for me.

I used to be an avid reader. But I stopped reading because reading is dangerous. It shapes your thoughts rather than letting them bloom in a natural way. So i am warning you, reading this will influence your thoughts to the ways of mine.
