Asia is called the continent of contrast because it has the highest point on earth , Mt Everest (8,848m) and also the lowest point on Earth , Dead sea ,400.below the sea level .Verkhoyansk in Russia is the coldest inhabited place in the world. In winter it's temperature drops around -70℃. On the other hand , Jacobabad in Pakistan has an average summer temperature of about 50℃ making the hottest place in Asia.
