Concept:

Units and Measurement

Given:

A=2.5m/s±0.5m/s,

B=0.10s±0.01s

Find:

Value of AB

Solution:

AB=(2.5m/s)(0.10s)=0.25m

ΔAB/AB=(ΔA/A+ΔB/B)=(0.5/2.5+0.01/0.10)=0.3

ΔAB=0.3×0.25m=0.075m=0.08m

The value of AB (0.25±0.8)m

Hence option A is the right answer.
