hey mate

you can use this example to find out :

The volume   =  Area × denseness

                             =    100   × 0.012

                             =     1.2

Adding 30% to fill up , uneven surface etc

Wet Volume  =  1.2 + 0.36

                                     =   1.56

Increasing 25% for dry volume

Total Dry Volume       =   1.56 + 0.39

                                   =    1.95

                                   =    2

i hope it helps u

Explanation:

You can either measure each wall solid (with no deductions for openings)

Or you can measure each wall solid, deduct openings, but then you need to add back in for beading up reveals and plastering the reveals.

The cost works out pretty much the same whichever way you do.

you can try just paying for the wall areas that are plastered, but then the plasterer will not plaster any reveals, as he is not getting paid for them.
