➡️these afferents could contribute to the initial cardiac acceleration in response to muscle contraction. During an isometric muscle contraction heart rate (HR) and blood pressure (BP) increase. However, the increase in HR is more immediate than the more slowly developing increase in BP.

Myosin head binds with the actin filaments and hydrolysis of ATP takes place that pushes the thin actin over the thick myosin filament ...
The thin filaments slide over the thick filament according to sliding filament theory...
