yes, the media would of course influences the country. the media is a power full weapon to change the society as well as country. the media can direct the people to wards good and even bad. the youth are mostly influenced by the media. many people get influenced by the media and they choose that bad way and get diverted from good path.
2nd answer -yes it should be controlled as it takes every information going in the world. some bad information also that should not be collect
