6 is even. So the formula is :

n / 2 , [ ( n / 2 ) + 1 ] observations

=> 6 / 2 , [ ( 6 / 2 ) + 1 ] observations

=> 3 , [ 3 + 1 ] observations

=> 3, 4th observations

Hence the third observation and the fourth observation are the median.

So 10 and 15 are the median for the above data.
