Arranging the given data in ascending order we get = 2, 3, 3, 4, 5 , 6, 7 , 8 , 9 , 10 , 13 = Total 11 = Odd terms .

now, we know that,

• If there is an odd number of terms, the median is the center term. = (n+1)/2
• If there is an even number of terms, add the two middle terms and divide by 2 = {(n/2 term)+(n/2+1) term}/2

we have ,

• n = 11

so,

→ Median = (n+1)/2

→ Median = {11 + 2)/2 term = 12/2 = 6th term = 6 (Ans.)
