Answer: 33 (1/3)%
 Selling price of 8 keys - Cost price of 8 keys =profit= selling price of 2 keys then
selling price of 6 keys = cost price of 8 keys

(2/6 x 100)% = 100/3 % = 33(1/3)%

Answer:

The percentage of profit is 33.33%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Meera sold 8 keys and makes a profit equal to the selling price of 2 keys

To find : What is profit percent?

Solution :

We know that,

Selling price = Cost price + Profit

SP(8 keys) = CP(8 keys) + P

We have given that profit is equal to selling price of 2 keys.

i.e P=SP(2 keys)

Substituting in equation above,

SP(8 keys) = CP(8 keys) + SP(2 keys)

CP(8 keys)=SP(6 keys)

Profit percentage is

P=\frac{\text{SP(2 keys)}}{\text{CP(8 keys )}}\times 100

P=\frac{\text{SP(2 article)}}{\text{SP(6 article)}}\times 100

P=\frac{2}{6}\times 100

P=33.33\%

Therefore, The percentage of profit is 33.33%.
