Meeta was playing with a ball in a big
room where light was coming from one
side. She observed that the shadow of
the ball could be seen only when the
ball was near a wall. Explain why she
could not see the shadow when the
ball was in the centre of the room?

Because for a formation of a Shadow we need
1)source of light
2) object
3) screen

So the wall acts as a screen in this observation

So when the ball will come in front of the mirror and it will form a shadow
