Hey mate here's your answer,

According to Mendeleev's periodic law, the physical and chemical properties of elements are the periodic function of their atomic mass(weight).

Hope it's helpful for you. ❤❤

Medeleev's periodic law:-

→ The properties of the element are the periodic functions of their atomic masses.

→ Medeleere arranged the elements in different rows and columns.

→ He classified the elements into 18 vertical column called 'groups' and further sub columns into IA, IB, IIA IIB,.... VIIA VIIB, VIII groups.

→ 7 horizontal rows called periods.

→ He predicted the properties of some undiscovered elements.

→ Isotopes of some elements with different atomic masses were placed in the same position.

→ Position of hydrogen in the periodic table is uncertained.

→ Lathanoids and Actinoids are place outside the periodic table since they could not be accomdated inside the table.

→ Elements of subgroups A and B of a given group had no similarity in their properties.

→ Nobel gases had no place in the old form of the periodic table.

→ Mendeelev's periodic table could not explain the periodicity in properties of elements.
