Binary fission can be seen in organisms like amoeba and
paramoecium. In this method, the nucleus divides and then the parent cell divides into two daughter cells of roughly equal sizes. The daughter cells are identical to the parent cell. The two daughter cells undergo binary fission to form two daughter cells each.
