Present Tense

Simple Present -

The tense which occurs daily or regularly in present is called Simple Present tense.

Eg - i) I eat rice in the morning.

ii) I play football with my friends.

Present Continuous -

The tense which is occurring in present situation.

Eg - i) I am eating rice.

ii) I am playing football with my friends.

Present Perfect -

Eg - i) I have eaten rice.

ii) I have done my homework.

Simple past :- POSITIVE FORM (+): Subject + V2 ( Second Form of Verb )

Past continous :- Subject + was/were + [verb + -ing] + … Was/were: past simple of the verb to be

Past perfect :- subject + had + past participle 

Past perfect continous :-constructed using had been + the verb's present participle (root + -ing)

Present

Simple present :- Subject + Verb 1 (V1) + Object.

Present continuous:- be' verb [am, is, are…] + present participle. Examples: He is driving erratically

Present perfect :- Have/Has + not + V3 I have not worked a lot yet.

Present perfect continuous :- construction has/have been + the present participle (root + -ing). 

Future

Simple future :-will + [root form of verb]. 

Future continuous:- formed using the construction will + be + the present participle (the root verb + -ing).

Future perfect:- will have + [past participle].

Future perfect continuous:- will + have + been + the verb's present participle (verb root + -ing).
