Power is shared among different levels of the government so that it does not lie within single authority.These forms are as follow
• Horizontal Division Of Power
power is shared among different organs of the government such as legislature ,executive and Judiciary. This ensures that none of the organs can exercise unlimited power. Each organ checks the other due to which a balanced form of power sharing is maintained among different organs of the govt.
• Vertical Division Of Power
The division of power from higher level of the government to lower level of the government is known as vertical division of power.
• Community Government
A social group of any size whose members reside in a specific locality, shared government and often have a common cultural and historical heritage.
•Coalition Government
when no single party is able to get an absolute majority in the Parliament, then two or more parties joined together to form a government,this type of government is known as coalition government.
