Pepsin : * Secreted in stomach
* Acts on protein in acidic medium
* Converts proteins into peptides.

Trypsin : * Secreted in pancreas
* Acts on protein in Alkaline medium
*Converts proteins into peptones

trypsin-is the digesting enzyme which is present in the pancreatic juice secreted by pancreas and pepsin-is the enzyme which breaks down the proteins into smaller pieces
