1.  The Taj Mahal firstly informs us about the artistic skills and architectural features of the time. The Tomb, minarets, decoration and use of marble etc shows that the art and architecture during the Mughal period was highly advanced.

2.  It shows the economic prosperity of the time. It was not possible to build such a splendid monument without economic prosperity.

3.  The Holy Quranic Verses on the walls of the Taj Mahal shows the rulers had a great love for religion.
