Collenchyma:
- The cells are elongated and with blunt ends.
- Cells have very less intracellular spaces.
- Cell wall is made up of cellulose.
- Protoplasm of cell have large central vacoule.
- Collenchyma cells are almost uniform in thickness.

- The corner of the cells are thick whereas the sides are thin.
- There is presence of pectin in the corner of the cells
▪ Plate Collenchyma:-
- The cell wall thickness are found in form of plate like deposition.
- Depositions are present in both inner and outer walls
▪ Lacunar Collenchyma:-
- This type of collenchyma has has very small intracellular spaces.
