We ,all living organisms depend on natural resources for our survival purposes. So we have to preserved these resources for future generations.
Examples : Soil, Air, Water, Forest , Fossils Fuels etc.
These are the different methods that every family members can implement to conserve Natural resources to some extent:
1. Follow 5 R's principle - Reduce,Reuse,Recycle,Refuse and recover.
2. Reduce-Minimize the usage of water
Example : use buckets while bathing instead of showers,use mugs during face wash,repairing leaking taps ,etc
3. Reuse-Usage of same water for other purpose
Example : water used for washing rice ,vegetables and vessels washing can be reused for irrigating plants.
4. Recycle-Water is a renewable resource category (which can be regenerate).
Example : sewage water can be treated in sewage treatment plant and can be re- utilized for many purposes.
5 .Refuse-Refuse to avoid waste of water
Example : During festival time especially Holi -using Eco-friendly colors so that it does not take utilize more water for cleaning etc
6. Recover-Water can be recycled by using sewage treatment plant Example : industrial waste firstly treated and send back to water bodies.
By implementing on these ,we can conserve resources to some extend and at the same time creating awareness in the community.
