If a person left a place A with uniform speed 4 m/s towards some random point B, now instantly he left B with same uniform speed 4 m/s and arrived at A then the average speed of the person is 4 m/s(nonzero), but the average velocity is zero because the displacement is zero as the person returned to his starting point
