Public sector is important for both social and economic development. They provide the basic facilities like water, electricity which private sector will not provide or will provide with high rates.

We need public sector in India .... because it is quite cheaper than private sector as it is controlled by government. People have given many facilities....like free medicines, free treatment in government hospitals etc
