hind brain consists of

1)cerebellum which helps in maintaining posture and equilibrium.

2)pons varolli help in joining 2parts together.

3)medulla oblongata acts as respiratory centre,vomitting centre etc.

As we know that hindbrain is consist of three parts:-

1. Cerebellum

2. Pons

3. Medulla

Functions are

1. Cerebellum is located after the cerebrum at the back of whole the structure. It's work is when we are riding a bicycle then the connection between peddling and cycling is controlled by cerebellum.

2. Medulla works along with the pons. It is situated below of cerebrum and connected with spinal chord. It's function is to regulate involuntary actions like respiration etc.
