MAIN PRODUCTS OF FERTILIZER INDUSTRY :

Nitrogenous fertilisers (mainly urea), ammonium phosphate (DAP) and phosphatic fertilisers are the main products of fertilizer industry of India.

India has succeded in meeting the demand of all chemical fertilizers over the years. The Indian fertilizer Industry is third largest producer in the world.

India is home to numerous top class private and government fertilizer companies. In the present scenario, there are more than 57 large and 64 medium and small fertilizer production units under the India fertilizer industry.
