Mention the names and direction of forces acting on a bucket containing water which is held above the ground in the hand of a person. Why the forces acting on the bucket do not bring any change in its state of motion ?​

Gravitational force is acting downwards, and muscular force is applied by the hands lifting bucket upwards. Although these forces are acting on the bucket no change is found in its state of motion because the two forces are in the opposite direction & hence balancing each other.
