Hey mate, here is your answer: -)

Liquids take on the shape of their container. The liquid state of matter is an intermediate phase between solid and gas. Like the particles of a solid, particles in a liquid are subject to intermolecular attraction; however, liquid particles have more space between them, so they are not fixed in position.

HOPE it helps to you!!!

HERE IS UR ANSWER ⤵⤵

➡Properties of liquid are :-

1) It does not have definite shape and size ---> It is due to the comparatively weaker force of attraction between the particles.

2) It has the ability to flow --> Because its particles are able to slide over one another.

3) Intermolecular space between the particles is more than solid but less than gas.

4) Density of liquid is Lower than solid and higher than gas.

5) Compressibilty of liquid is negligible.

6) Force of attraction between the particles are weaker than solid and stronger than gas.

7) Due to higher intermolecular space between the particles in liquid , the movement of particles are also higher than solid and Lower than gas.

HOPE IT HELPS.....☺✌
