The main objective of service level management

The aim of SLA is to handle or manage such agreements in such a way that the requirements of the customer should be reflected and contracted in a ‘coordinated and harmonized way’. The basic requirement of the SLA should balance the quality and value for the customer along with cost of services.

Some of its goals are explained as follows,

  • Each and every service offered to a customer should be covered by an SLA along with SLA’s description.
  • In order to achieve the service targets, OLAs and UCs should be established.
