(a) National Management Information System( NMIS)

NMIS of the Department of Science and Technology has collected a database on Research and Development systems along with information about exploration scientists and labour force involved.

( b) Environmental Information System( ENVIS)

The Ministry of Environment and timbers, Government of India has created an information System called Environmental Information System( ENVIS). With its headquarters in Delhi, it functions in 25 different centres each over the country.

c) Remote Sensing and Geographical Information System

Satellite imageries give us factual information about colourful physical and natural coffers and also to some extent about their state of declination in a digital form through remote seeing.
