Services rendered by Annadurai as CM of Tamil Nadu:

· He served as the first CM of Tamil Nadu for 20 days in the year 1969.

· Inaugurated the scheme of rice at Re.1 and it was inaugurated by CNA in suburbs of Tamil Nadu for subsidising rice prices.

· A fund of Rs. 9 lakhs was sanctioned for Tirukurral research in state universities.

· Annadurai under his rule and his government renamed the ""Madras State"" to ""Tamil Nadu"".

· Prominent hand in organisation of World Tamil Conference under the agencies of UNESCO.

· He also brought in the “Two Language Policy”.

· He successfully conducted “Second World Conference”.

· As a CM he ordered removal of religious pictures or the images of gods or other such related pictures from all public offices.
