flowers are the reproductive parts in the plant. plumule- becomes the first shoot to the plant. radicle- becomes the first root to the plant. testa or seed coat- which protects the seed from injury. cotyledon- it contains stored food for initial growth. The fusion of male gamete with female gamete further forms into a zygote(this is called reproduction)

The main part where seed formation takes place is the flower. Within the flower, the seed production takes place in ovary.

EXPLANATION:

The seeds have three main parts- endosperm, embryo and seed coat. An organism which develops from the seed is the embryo. The 'endosperm' is the food source that provides nourishment to the seed. The "protective layer" of seed is the seed coat.

Organisms reproduce either asexually in which the offspring arises from a 'single parent' or organisms reproduce sexually where the offspring arises from two different parents.
