The standard and efficiency of public education have an impact on social problems worldwide. In reality, much of the school's activities are committed to reacting directly or indirectly to students with social ills, such as poverty or abuse, which threaten their lives. Such challenges, such as parenthood, homelessness, child abuse, substance abuse, and youth suicide, make learning effort more difficult. Many social problems such as vandalism, violence in schools and dropout rates get even worse when students feel isolated from their school system. There are many social problems surrounding schooling and student hood. Social problems can have both positive and negative effects on students. Therefore, here social issues should be looked after by students and teachers.

  • Racism: In every aspect of society, from industry to education, racialism is a social issue. Racism. The racist peers with a prejudiced note in favor of minority classmates show that this phenomenon applied in their classrooms techniques. Nevertheless, teachers can prohibit language differences in school, prejudice may continue if parents also do not seek to correct their children's pre-conceptions at home.   • Ethnic Issues: Kids are found to be slower learners as they measure up to other competitors in certain ethnic groups. Although by reason of social or geographical aspects, students from particular ethnic groups lack sufficient disclosure to learning sources.  It puts the students belonging to them at risk of increasing low self-esteem.
  • Unequal Opportunity: Within the realm of judgment is the social problem of disparate education opportunities for students who hail from smaller backgrounds. Students belonging to this demographic risk have lost out on the alike stage of educational quality as middle to higher class students of non-minority backgrounds. The social problem is that the education system provides unequal incentives and disparities on the basis of cultural identity and income, if all students are to be fairly educated in an ideal world.
  • Economy: In social matters concerning students, the economy plays an important role. When children get older, they begin to notice their families ' financial burdens. Families can be difficult in an economy. Many high school students will then leave school to help financially support the family. Public schools are most often attended by students who belong to poor households. Such schools are not as technically advanced as a private school. This then makes them naturally fail to judge other students who go to private schools.
  • Cultural Issues: Students belonging to migrant families are not proficient with the English language. It prohibits students and teachers from talking. These students can not undergo an appropriate instruction.
  • Ethical Issues: Extra ethical issues that prevail in education have an impact on students. For example, whether to permit mobile in school or not, must school uniforms be made compulsory, and so on.
  • Gender Issues: Social issues in education are the degree of gender discriminatory treatment. Girls have few study opportunities in certain parts of society, compared with boys. There are expectations from girls to study less or accomplish great in studies  
  • Substance Abuse: Drug abuse and dependence have developed into an epidemic. Most students are getting into drugs, alcohol and addictive substances. The use of these drugs leads to problems in the type of criminal activity, abuse and a retraction of education interests. The supportive environment for students, at home and in school, will handle this social problem.
