=) There are usually four branches of Archaeology :-

(i) Classical archaeology =) In classical archaeology , one studies about ancient Greek and Roman civilisations .

(ii) Historical archaeology =) In historical archaeology , one studies about the recent history about freedom and independence .

(iii) Underwater archaeology =) In underwater archaeology , one studies about special techniques to study shipwrecks and other submerged archaeological sites such as water-buried cities . 

(iv) Ethno - archaeology =) In ethno - archaeology , one studies about the weapons and tools along with human and animal fossils indicates that past cultures .
