the October revolution took place by the conflict between the provincial government and Bolshevik.on 16th Oct Lenin convinced the Petrograd Soviet and Bolshevik party for a seizure of power.A military revolution committee was appointed under Leon trotskii.on Oct 24th the uprising began when the PM Kerensky invited the troops to prevent the situation from going out of control. on the other side the Bolshevik members attacked the government officers and surrendered and the ship Aurora shelled the winter palace and by the night of24th the city was under the control of Bolshevik.thus the Oct revolution was led by Lenin and his subordinates. It marked the beginning of single party rule in Russia led by Lenin the Bolshevik under his guidance. effects:1) Bolshevik favoured no private property, all industries and banks were banned.2) land was declared as social property and peasants were permitted to take over the land they work.
