1. Annexation of Princely states- The princely states that were owned by the kings and the rulers were asked to either join with India or Pakistan or they could even be independent.
2. Due to the partition of the country, there were several wars that gave rise to regional differences and led to clashes between the Hindus and the Muslims. Many people from both the sides got killed in this partition related violence.
3. At the era of independence the members of the parliament were worried about the stability of the country because the people were emerging from subject to that of citizens. This demanded for the making of a constitution for India.
